However not all of our Artificial Trees are natural trunks some are plastic. Keep an eye out on the description if this is an issue.

Often the plants are placed in areas with full sun, places like sun rooms etc. The reason they want Artificial Trees in these areas are natural trees suffer in rooms like this, they dry out quicker, leaves can suffer and start to look poorly. When they placed the Artificial Trees in these rooms they last, the leaves can handle the sun and don’t fade like natural plants in the change of seasons. Manufacturing Process for Artificial Plants

The Artificial Plant industry is a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide. Therefore plants are getting more and more realistic and their processes have to be right.

The Process

Silk, cotton fabric & rayon are the main fabrics for the artificial petals or leaves. All fabrics are often printed first then die cut into many different sizes and shapes. These are then spray painted all into different colours depending on the palnt and effect they are after. All petals and leaves need to have their own curves and look therefore are inserted into moulds where heat creates their own shapes. Some leaves or stems can require wire for extra strength.

Everything is then assembled by hand in large production lines as you can see the whole process in the photo.
